Theirs should ideally have been the source material for Mukesh Bhatt-Mohit Suri’s Hamari Adhuri Kahaani. Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan applied for divorce in April 2014 and even the hearing on October 31 may not be able to put a full stop to their on-going story. A source familiar with the development lets in, “The world is talking about their divorce case because it is a high profile matter. But there are some sensitive reasons for which even October 31 will not see the conclusive hearing of their case. It will be heard but their lawyer is planning to ask for a further date in the case.”
The couple separated earlier this year and a case for divorce-by-mutual-consent was filed by their lawyer this summer. Hrithik made an official statement, confirming the cracks in his fairytale love story of 17 years and marriage of 14 years.
Sussanne walked out of the Roshan's family home in Juhu, Mumbai and moved into a house on the top floor building in Versova with the kids. She has already won the custody of their sons. Recently, she dropped her marital surname and reinstated her maiden surname ‘Khan.
No dialogue, according to our source, has taken place on alimony and property division between the separated parents, which is perhaps the reason that another date for the hearing of their case will be asked for.
